Meet the Doctors
David Katzman, MD
Dr. David Katzman pioneered the practice of concierge medicine in the Midwest in 2003. A board-certified internist, Dr. Katzman converted his 5,000-patient practice into a boutique medical office in answer to his patients’ increasing desire for more time with their physician.
Dr. Katzman's practice emphasizes preventative health and wellness. The office is located in Creve Couer, Missouri. Dr. Katzman admits to Missouri Baptist, Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Barnes West Hospitals. He is assisted by Michele Borchert.
A St. Louis native, Dr. Katzman is a graduate of John Burroughs School, and Brown University where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Katzman attended St. Louis University School of Medicine where he was awarded Alpha Omega Alpha and Alpha Sigma Nu for academic honors. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis and was selected to serve as Chief Resident at Barnes Hospital and John Cochran Veterans Hospital.
Dr. Katzman received various honors during his tenure at Washington University, including the Knowlton award for clinical excellence. He remains strongly associated with Washington University as a Voluntary Clinical Instructor in Medicine.
In 2021, Dr. Katzman was named a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is a member of the American Medical Association, St. Louis Medical Society, Medical Staff Association of Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and the Medical Board of the St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer.
Dr. Katzman is married to jewelry designer Diane Katzman and is the father of three grown daughters and a rescue dog.
He enjoys reading, cooking, movies and exercise.
Jennifer DeLaney, MD
Dr. Jennifer DeLaney, a board-certified Internist, opened her personal medical practice in 2006 in
response to her desire to spend more time with her patients. She joined Dr. David Katzman in an office
where they limit the size of the practice to assure timely and comprehensive care.
Dr. DeLaney grew up in Indianapolis and attended Georgetown University for her undergraduate
studies, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She moved to St. Louis in 1992 to attend
Washington University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Internship and
Residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Dr. DeLaney continues to have a strong affiliation with Washington University and BJC., where she
serves on the Medical Executive Committe and is a Voluntary Clinical Instructor of Medicine. She is the
President of the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Medical Staff Association representing 3,000 physicians to
Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. She is a Fellow in the American
College of Physicians and serves on the Missouri Board of Governors for the American College of
Physicians.
Dr. DeLaney and Dr. Katzman jointly invented and manufactured a Powered Air-Purifying Respirator with
the expert help of Hunter Engineering. They have donated over 500 of these life saving devices to
hospitals in the US, Central and South America and Africa.
Dr. DeLaney has received numerous awards and commendations including the Four School Physician
Scientist Scholarship and the Robert C. Byrd Congressional Scholarship.
Dr. DeLaney is married to St. Louis native Chris Reid, a corporate attorney at Thompson Coburn. They
have two adult children, Miranda and Aidan. Dr. DeLaney enjoys running, cycling, reading and cooking.
She is on staff at Barnes-Jewish, Barnes-Jewish West and Missouri Baptist Hospitals.
Jacqueline Fairchild, MD
Dr. Jacqueline Fairchild is board certified in Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine and Obesity Medicine.
Dr. Fairchild most recently served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at St. Louis University School of Medicine where she cared for patients and taught medical students and residents. Prior to that, Dr. Fairchild practiced medicine and served as Residency Director at Mercy Clinic for 14 years. She also served on the Mercy and Veterans Administration Institutional Review Boards.
Dr. Fairchild is originally from Capetown, South Africa, where she completed her medical training at the University of Capetown in 1995. She moved to St. Louis for residency training at Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Fairchild is serving a 4 year term is the governor of the Missouri chapter of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Fairchild, her husband and two children enjoy living in Olivette.
